A group chat shares an edited screenshot to embarrass someone from school. A friend says, “Just repost it and say they wrote it.” You feel pressure to go along. What do you do?

“Be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Stand therefore, having the belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness.”

Ephesians 6:10–14Truth is what God says, even when a group chat repeats a lie. The breastplate points to God's righteousness: Jesus makes us right with God, and his Spirit helps us choose what is right. Our struggle is against evil, not against people.
